Foxton continued to be pressed, and shortly afterwards, from a scrum, Neville passed to Heta, to Nepia, to Lester, who raced over near the corner. Nepia converted with a good kick. Pitihira kicked out, Thurston securing with a high kick, and C. Sciascia following up fast took the ball at toe to the home end, but Reid saved well with a kick out at midfield.
