RACING.
M.R.C. MEETING
The Manawatu Racing Club’s autumn meeting was brought to a close on Thursday. The weather was a great improvement on that of the preceding day, despite the heavy clouds hanging about the rain held off till the close of the day. The sum of ,£13,731 was passed through the totalisator, making a total of ,£22,261 for the meeting, as compared with £22,874 last year, when the weather was fine. The following are the results :
