Ou the racecourse ou Saturday afternoon ioc*l footballers will indulge in a practice game. As the championship matches will commence within the next week or two it is necessary that local players should get in as much practice as possible beiore the competition commences, and it is therefore hoped that all footballers in the district, both senior and junior will roll out on Saturday afternoon. The selectors will be present to watch the play with a view to selecting teams to represent Foxton in the first matches.

Messrs Coley and Bock have signified their intention of donating two gold medai to the Foxton Football Club. Tne medals are to be presented to the best forward and back in this year’s senior team.
