SKATING.
The attendance at the Municipal Skating Rink was again very good last night, and a very enjoyable time was spent on the rollers. The absence of roughness or misconduct on me part or any of the patrons, and the thorough discipline that prevails, is perhaps the most important lactor in the popularity of this rink, and under the able management of Mr Alf. Fraser and his assistants, the Town Hall should maintain its present attraction for local skating enthusiasts throughout the seasou. Every opportunity is afforded novices to learn to skate, and the number of persons making their initial attempts to master the “balancing trick’’ does not seem to greatly decrease. Those who indulge in this healthy and exhiliraling pastime will have an opportunity of attending the rink on two more evenings this week, Thursday and Friday being set aside for this amusement.
