GAMING HOUSE RAID.
HEAVY FINES INFLICTED
Auckland, April 19,
At the Police Court, John Ryan, keeper of a billiard saloon recently included in the police raid, was fined and costs.
Fred. Williams and Charles Darcy, two reputed bookmakers, were each fined ,£25 and costs.
[On Thursday fifty-five persons were dealt with, their fines aggregating £465.]
