HIMATANGI STOCK SALE,
The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co,, Ltd,, Palmerston North, report : —At Himatangi on Monday we had a good entry of sheep and a heavy yarding of cattle. Bidding was not quit*, as brisk as at late sales, and several pens were passed at auction. We quote: Store ewes, 3s rod to 4s 3d ; weauers, 24s 6d to 38s ; vveauer steers, 30s ; weaner heifers, 39s to 3s ; 2-year heifers in calf, £$ is ; store cows, £3 to £3 9s 6d ; empty 2-year heiiers, £3 17s 6d ; forward cows, £4. 12s 6d to £4 14s ; fat cows, £5 96 ; aged cows, 25s to 38s ; bulls, £2 to £3 ; cows in calf, £5.
