The Moutoa Drainage Board has extended the time for receiving tenders foi drain cleaning to Friday next, 29th inst., at 5 pan.
Mr L. G. West invites tenders for the erection of a gentleman’s residence near Foxton. Tenders close on Tuesday, April 2nd. Mr E. Healey inserts a change advertisement, drawing attention to Healey’s Pile Cones, a certain remedy for blind, bleeding or protruding piles. In our advertising columns to-day is an illustration of a very useful portable bath sold by Holben and Kirk, of Palmerston North. This bath is made by the firm and sold in large numbers throughout the Manawatu, Wairarapa and Rangitikei districts, giving satisfaction wherever used. Those in need ol such an article should not fail to read this interesting advertisement. Further particulars in connection with the auction sale on account of Mr J. W, Williams to be held by Messrs Mounsey and Co., at the farm, Nelson Rd., on Wednesday next are advertised in this issue. The cows to be offered are a really good lot and are milking well. The sale will commence at 1 p.m., and at 2 o’clock the choice little dairy farm of 35 acres, together with two dwelling and all outbuildings, will be offered. This farm is splendidly situated, well watered and subdivided, and should commend itself to anyone seeking a convenient home, being handy to factory and near Foxton, with all the attendant comforts.
