BOARD’S ACTION ADOPTED,

The Stagpoole appeal case was brought, lo a close at Palmerston 1 North ou Saturday. At 10.30 p.m. the court delivered its judgment that the decision oi the Wanganui Fducation Board in dismissing the appellant was reasouable, haviug due regard to the efficient conduct of the board’s allairs. The appeal was therefore dismissed, with costs agaiust the institute, amounting to 9s 4d, The court recommended that Stagpoole be granted three mouths’ leave ot absence on full pay from the date of the decision, in which Mr Pirani said he was sure the board would concur.
