STOCK REPORT
The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Palmerston N., report: At Hirnataugi on Monday we had a heavy yarding of sheep and cattle. There was a good attendance of buyers and a good sale resulted, very little being turned out unsold. We quote ; Sheep— Store lambs 6s Bd, 2-tooth ewes 13s, f.m. ewes on account Mr F. Robinson 13s, fat ewes 13s 2d. Cattle —Weaners (small) 20s to 265, weaners (good) 30s to 375, Jersey cross weaner heifers 39s 6d, Holstein cross weaner heifers £2 19s 6d, 15-months steers £2 19s to £3 2s 6d, 20-mouths steers £3 19s, 15-months heifers ,£3 ss, heifers in calf ,£4 5s to ,£4 7s, springing heifers £5 2s 6d to ,£6 15s, springing cows ,£8 10s to £g, a line of 57 store cows £3 15s 6d, bulls £2 15s. Pigs—Slips ns to 14s.
