Mr S. Messena received a letter this week trom the ex-Foxtoa horseman, O’Neill, who is now residing in Melbourne, in which he stated that at the Launceston meeting he had steered two horses to victory and said he expected to account for the Steeplechase last Saturday. O’Neill is associated with Ronald Cameron, who won the last Melbourne Cup on The Parisian, it is stated that Cameron will visit Palmerston North after the Faster racing in Australia. His engagements for the autumn racing include the mount on Queen ot Scotsjfor the Oakleigh Plate and Newmarket, The Parisian in the Australian and Sydney Cups and the Champion Race, and on a full brother to Blairgour for other important events.
