A BOLD ASSERTION.
It is an old saying that “familiarity breeds contempt” ; lot of truth in it, too. A good fellow always “wears well,” and so it is with many things in everyday life. The good things wear well; they last, increase in public popularity. Praise must be earned, and praise tor Doan’s Backache Kidney Pills has been justly earned iu nearly every town in New Zealand. Year after year their good work has continued, until there are few households not familiar with the name of Doan. It is a bold assertion to make that nothing in modern medicine can show such a record. But the proof of it lies in public endorsement. Read this testimony :
Mrs W. Purser, 52 Bourke St., Palmer,Ton North, says:—“One naturally does not like to make their health troubles public, but when they have found a sure and reliable cure for such distressing complaints as backache and kidney trouble, I think they have a duty to perform iu letting other sufferers know of it, hence my reason for making the following statement. Through overwork and catching a severe cold, which seemed to settle on my kidneys, my back commenced to ache quite a lot. the pain, at times, being very severe. It was agony for me to stoop and when I tried to straighten my back I used to scream out, the pain was so awful. My legs became very swollen, and this I knew, was a sure sign of dropsy. I had several other distressing symptoms of kidney disorder, and as I had tried all sorts of medicines without getting any relief from my suffering, I was beginning to think life hardly worth living. But now, thanks to Doan’s Backache Kidney Pills, all that is changed, a course ot these grand pills having cured me completely. This is the most wonderful remedy I know ot, they acted on the kidney like magic and I soon knew X was on the road to recovery, and after taking fourteen bottles I was as well as-ever 1 had been in my life. It is two years since I gave up taking Doan’s Backache Kidney Pills, and I have been well ever since.”
It used to be considered that only urinary and bladder troubles were to be traced to the kidneys, but now modern science proved that nearly all diseases have their origin in the disorder ot these important organs. Then keep your kidneys strong and well by taking the great kidney remedy —Doan’s Backache Kidney Pills. They are sold by all chemists and storekeepers at 3s per bottle (six bottles x6s 6d), or will be posted on receipt ot price by Foster-McClellan Co., 76 Pitt St., Sydney. But, be sure you get Doan’s. — Atm'.

RELIEF AFTER FIFTEEN YEARS. “ For fifteen years i suffered from constipation, and I coula get no relief,” writes Mr Frederick Fuller, Saddler, iNew Canterbury Road, Petersham, N.S.W. “Then 1 saw Chamberlain’s Tablets advertised and taking them according to directions, found they relieved me after the first dose or two. At one time 1 was completely doubled in two with wind in my stomach, but 1 do not know what that is now, for Chamberlain’s Tablets have completely cured me.” For sale everywhere.—Ad vt.
