LAW AND ORDER.
(To the Editor.)
Sir. —Please allow me space in which to complain of the carryingson ol a gang oi hoodlums, who infest Foxton, sous of parents who are held as respectable citizens. They seem to think they can do as they think tit, and take charge anywhere when they happen to meet iu a mob. My attention was called to their conduct outside the Masonic Hall on Sunday night, while a religious service was being conducted by the Salvation Army. Happening by 1 noticed a lassie mounting guard on closed doors to prevent them trom taking charge altogether. Their language was filthy and their actions similar. On being remonstrated with they behaved shamefully. Hoping this catches the eye of the police and thanking you iu anticipation. —I am, etc,, I City Bred.
