BOROUGH FINANCES.

At Monday night’s council meeting the Borough Treasurer reported on the borough finances as follows :

“The sum 01 xßs qd has been paid into the district fund account, and xos into the cemetery account, since my last report was presented. The bank balances this day were ; District fund account 6s 5d and Beach road loan account ,£1242 9s, all at credit. Of the separate accounts those in credit are : General account ,£475 ns sd, reserves account 8s 1 id, cemetery account ,£1 6s 3d, sanitation account 5s 3d, gas loan account Bs, town hall account 17s xod, Beach road loan account 9s, interest account os xxd. While those overdrawn are: Library account £l s s s , gas works account os Bd, town hall loan account 17s 6d.”
