ENTERTAINMENTS.

PICTURE SHOW

A splendid entertainment is promised for Saturday, as a glance at the programme, in our advertising columns will show. The star of the evening will be the great drama “ Cast up by the Deep” an intensely interesting and realistic subject. Othei dramas are “ An Eye for an Eye,” ‘‘ Brothers Redemption,” and a ver}' pathetic drama entitled 11 Baby Breadwinners” showing how wee children are forced to earn their daily bread. There are some beautiful scenic films which will please everybody. ‘‘Cuttle Fish ” is one of them, also “Exercises of the Don Cossacks ” being interesting scenes of manoeuvres of the famous Russian Cavalry. And a very beautiful nature scene “Dawn to Sunset.” A novelty film “Childs Beauty Competition” will also be shown. An educational film of great interest, “ A Day in a Coalman’s Life” showing the arduous tasks and great dangers daily faced by these brave labouring men, will give a very good idea of the working of this great industry. The comedy and comic films arc very amusing, namely, “ The Bridegroom’s Dilemma ” and “ Cock-a-Doodle-Do,” and everyone will go home laughing after seeing “ Calinos New Hat.”
