TRAGEDY ON THE IONIC.
Kondon, December 18. The Shaw-Savill steamer lonic reports that whilst rounding Cape Horn, Mrs ilate Hare, a widow from New Zealand, in a sudden frenzy, Hung her mother, Mrs Herd man, to the deck, and then vaulted overboard. The woman's skirts kept her afloat until a lifeboat rescued her, but she died afterwards.
