PICTURE SHOW
The Picture Show will be on F'riday (to-morrow) this week, and the programme is really a firstclass one, covering a great variety of subjects, including drama, scenic, topical, novelty and comic. The longest film is a stirringdrama entitled ’* The Test of Friendship,” and is of intense interest from start to finish. Other dramas are, “ Brothers” and “ Three Sisters,” also a very absorbing drama of “ Ava Maria.” The scenic films are particularly fine this week, including “ The Wolf of Fresh Water,” a beautiful film of “Clouds and Icefields,” and a very pretty one of “Ski Championships in Norway.” There will be a topical film, one of the well-known “ Pathe Gazette,” depicting some recent events. “ Six Bromptou Girls ” is a quaintly pretty novelty film which will appeal to everyone for its beauty and mystery. The comic films must not be forgotten, toremost amongst which are “Tonloliui is Sad,” and a side-splitting comic of what happened “ All Through a Laundry Mark.” It is really a splendid programme from beginning to end, full of interest, beauty and cleverness.
A good way to start the festive season is to patronise the Municipal Pictures. There will also be an entire change of programme for Tuesday (Boxing Night), when some special films will be displayed.
