WEDDING BELLS.
PARKER—MARTIN
• A pretty wedding was celebrated yesterday at the residence of Mr IC. J. MaTin, the contracting parlies being Mr Percival Stanley Parker, of Napier, and Miss Miriam Grace Martin, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs E. J. Marlin, of Paxton. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a dress of cream figured lustre and wore the orothodox veil and coronet of oiange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet. MissKileeu Leuihan acted as bridesmaid, and was daintily attired in awhile embroidery dress and carried a shower bouquet. Mr K. Furrie assisted the bridegroom as best man. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a handsome gold neck chain and pendant, and to the bridesmaid a gold brooch. The bride’s present to the bridegroom was a set or go if I sleeve links. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. T. Coatsworlh, and subsequently the guests were entertained by the bride’s parents, when the usual toasts were duly honoured. The happy couple left by this morning’s train eu route for Auckland, where the honeymoon is to be spent. The bride's travelling dress was a cream costume with satin facings and hat to match.
