On Wednesday eveuiug at the Coronation Town Hall, the local amateurs will stage the screamingly funny aud immensely popular farcical comedy, 11 The Arabian Nights.” It will be preceded by a shoit comedy, “ curtain raiser.” The oast of characters for ” The Arabian Nights” is as follows:—Arthur Hummingtop, Mr F. D. Whibley; Ralph Ormerod, Mr A. McCall ; Joshua Gillibraud, Dr. Adams; Dobson, Mr A. H. Boyes ; Mrs Gillibrand, Mrs Clemett : Mrs Hummiuglop, Miss Cook; Rosa Colombier, Mrs A. 11. Boyes ; Daisy Maitland, Miss Ryan; Barbara, Miss F. Cook. The piece has been carefully rehearsed, aud as the mounting aud stage effects will he ou a higher level than any of the amateurs’ previous enterlaiuments, they should he greeted with a bumper house. Prices of admission are 3s, 2s, aud is, aud seats may be booked at the Town Clerk’s office without extra charge. On Weduesday night the doors will open at 7.30, aud the curtain will rise sharp at S o’clock.
