Holiday excursion tickets in connection with the Christmas and New Year holidays, are advertised elsewhere in this issue. Mr W. H. Field returns thanks to the electors for returning him at the head of the poll, and also to his committee and supporters for their loyal work and faithful service.

Messrs Ross and Co., of the Bon Marche, Palmerston N., circulate an inset with this issue, announcing a big fire salvage and stock realisation sale, affecting all departments or their huge stock and buyers are recommended to shop early in the sale and as far as possible early in the day.* Perreau’s Milk Loaf is the Loaf of the day.
