in spite of the windy weather, a very enjoyable alternuun was spent at the courts on Wednesday. Refreshments, dispensed by the ladies, were much appreciated by the players. Wanklyn (A), 6 — 5 : Wilson and Furrie (b), beat Davey and Clemctt A), 6 —2. Total: ii team, 29 ; A team, 14.
