Mr Maguire thanked Mr Tregear for his action, and continued the address, but interruptions still continued. Finally, wheu on the verge of collapse and acting on the Rev. Tregear’s advice, Mr Maguire was compelled to close his meeting. Mr Tregear then loiloweu with a lew rniuules' vigorous speech in refutal of the charges made against him, and afterwards addressed a large crowd outside the hall.
