Mr C. A. W. Moucktou will address the electors at the undermentioned places 011 the lollowiug dales ; Glen Oroua, Monday 20th, i Oroua Bridge, Tuesday 21st, Oroua Downs, Wednesday 22nd, Akatarawa 24th. Mr Moucktou addressed a most successful meeting at Shauuou on Thursday night.

Mr Byron Brown addressed the electors at Ohau on uight. The building was absolutely packed, and the candidate was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence, and three hearty cheers were given for him. In the Druids’ Hall, Shannon, last uight, Mr Byron Brown addressed the largest political meeting yet held in the township, and at the conclusion was accorded a vote of thanks and confidence.

During this week Mr W. H. Field has been addressing the electors iu the northern end of the electorate, having spoken at Raugiotu, Gleuoroua, Himataugi and Taikorea. At each place he addressed full meetings and was attentively listened to and accorded votes of thauks and confidence. He speaks at Te Horo to-night.

Mr Monckton, the Opposition candidate tor this electorate, is a New Zealander, born iu 1872. He received his education at the Wanganui College, and, iu the course ot a brilliant career, saw much judicial and administrative service m New Guinea. When Australia assumed control of the island’s . affairs Mr Monckton lelt for Eng- * laud, and iu 1908 he resigned from the Colonial Office. The candidate is now a prominent run-holder iu the Otaki district.
