CITIZENS’ BALL.

We wish lo draw our readers attention to the fact that the Citizens’ Ball takes place tomorrow night in the Town Hall. The Municipal Baud, who have kindly consented to give their services and their best music free of charge, will give a selection outside before the ball commences. They will then open the ball with the Grand March and a waltz. For the remainder of the ball, Coulan’s baud (who are always willing to give their time and talent in a good cause) will take turn about with Mr Berthold’s orchestra. Conlaa’s baud will consist of the piano, violin, cornet, with Mr Geo. Kendall, of Rangiotu, at the 'chello. Mr Perrcau intends to make a name for himself in the catering line and he has never had a better opportunity than the present. Altogether the ball promises to be a great success and as it is the last of the season no one should miss it. Admission to the gallery is only one shilling. The following is the programme :—Grand March and waltz, lancers, schottische (plain), quadrille, valeta, JD’Alberts, mazurka, waltz cotillions, military two step, lancers, schottische, barn dance, Highland schottische, lancers, waltz, quadrille, valeta, mazurka, waltz, cotillions, medley.
