The star film ou Saturday will be the “Cardinal’s lidict ’ ’ an exceptionally fine dramatic representation, and the rest of the items promise to be more than usually interesting, as a glance at the advertisement in another column will convince anyone. The new “ Gaumont ” machiue will be used for the first time ou Saturday night. The machiue that has been in use so far is one kindly leut by Messrs John Puller and Son until the newone arrived, wuieh was impoiteu lot the Council by the above firm, aud the “ Gaumontis absolutely the last wmrd iu biograph machines.
