CRICKET.

A meeting of the Foxtou Cricket Association was held in the Family Hotel on Tuesday evening, when there were present Messrs Hunt, Brock and Whibley.

It was decided that all championship fixtures commence at 2 p.m., but an allowance of 45 minutes shall be made to travelling teams. Stumps to be drawn at 6.30 p.m. The fixtures lor the first and second round were drawn up as follows ; FIRST ROUND. October 2Sth: Awahou v. Maitai at Maitai; Foxton v. Himataugi at Foxton. November 4th: Awahou v. Himatangi at Himataugi ; Foxton v. Maitai at Foxtou. November nth: Foxton v. Awahou at Foxtou ; Himatangi v. Maitai at Maitai. SECOND ROUND. November iSt’u: Awahou v. Maitai at Foxton ; Foxtou v. Himatangi at Himatangi. November 25th: Awahou v. Himataugi at Foxton ; Foxton v. Maitai at Maitai. December and •• Foxtou v. Awahou at Foxton ; Maitai v. Himatangi at Himatangi.
