A DISCOVERY.

GOLD WATCH AND CHAIN UNEARTHED.

Mr H. S. Munro, proprietor of the Family Hotel, made a somewhat startling discovery yesterday. One of the drain pipes in the road was choked and Mr Munro in digging it up unearthed a gold watch and chain with greenstone pendant and several silver and copper coins. The discovery was made about two feet below the surface. The watch is a valuable time piece and suitably inscribed. Mr Munro asks us not to publish the inscription for obvious reasons.
