London, September 14.
The Chairman of the London County Council has written to the directors of Earl’s Court Exhibition, forwarding the Wesleyan London Synod’s Protest against the Johusou-Wells fight. The chairman recall;d the Council’s prohibition of the cinematograph pictures ol the Reno fight, and adds that the contest may seriously imperil the license in November.
The Free Church Council is ' communicating with the leaders of religious bodies in order to secure combined action.
