THE CORONATION HALL.

SCALE OF CHARGES

At Monday night’s Council meeting the Mayor referred to the scale of charges for the Coronation Hall, which had been decided upon at the previous meeting. He instanced several charges which he thought should be reduced. After some discussion, reductions were made as follows : —Balls or socials and dances to 2 a.m. to £3 ; public meetings where no charge is made for admission, 10s; and local concerts, £2 ros.
