OBITUARY.

The death took place this morning, at the residence of Mr A. Turner, .Coley Street, of Edward Michael Scanlon, aged 64 years. Deceased was well-known in Foxton, having resided here for about 25 years, He arrived in New Zealand a few years prior to settling here. It is stated that the deceased was well-connected at Home, and recently went to England to claim a share in a family estate.

The funeral will leave St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Thursday, at 2 p.m., for the Foxton cemetery.
