AUCKLAND WHARF CASES.
Auckland, Aug. 31
To-day John Alexander McIntyre, the last of the four men charged with theft of goods from the Auckland wharves, was placed upon his trial. The case lasted all day and at 5.30 p.m. the jury retired. At 10 p.m. they returned, the foreman intimating that there was uoipossibility of their agreeing. The case will accordingly have to be heard over again.
