CATHOLIC SOCIAL.
Although the weather was unfavourable last uight, there was a very large attendance at the social and dance held in the Masonic Hall, under the auspices of the Catholic Church. As usual all arrangements were first-class and a most eujoyabl: time was spent by those present. During the evening vocal items were contributed by Miss MacAllister, Mrs Duggan and Messrs B. Hooker and J. Golder. The music was supplied by Mr Berthold with orchestral accompaniments, and extras were played by Miss Mac Allister and Messrs D. Prentice, J. Golder and C. Berthold. The duties of M.’s.C. were capably carried out by Messrs S. Dudson and M. IS. Perreau, the latter gentleman acting in the place of Dr. Adams from whom an apology for absence was received. An excellent supper, was provided by the ladies of the parish. It is the intention of the Committee to hold further socials this season, particulars of which will be notified later.
