INCENDIARISM.
WAIMATIi, July 31. An inquiry was held this afternoon into the cause of the recent fire at the Canterbury Farmers’ Co-operative store before Mr Hutcheson, S.M., and a jury. After hearing the evidence, the verdict was that the fire was wilfully caused by some persons unknown.
