FOR ONE SHORT HOUR.
When, if ever, you take a stimulant, it only borrows for one hour what must be paid back the next. It only draws on your reserves ; it doesn’t really give you new strength and energy! No matter how you argue the point, no horse-owner will believe that whips and spurs can take the place of oats and hay! And so it is with men and women 1 No “ stimulants ” can take the place of good, well-digested food. When appetite and digestion fail, and you feel tired, drowsy and depressed, it is not stimulants you need, but Mother Seigel’s Syrup! This herbal tonic will restore the lost power to your stomach, liver and kidneys, and then you will be able to digest and gain nourishment from your food. Mrs Alice Beesley, Sherwood road, Toowong, Queensland, said in August, 1910, that she suffered, three years previously, from indigestion. She says:—“ The symptoms were slight at first, but gradually increased in severity, until my health at last became seriously affected, and I felt quite ill. I had no appetite, and the little I did eat did me no good, but caused severe pains in the stomach, and pressure and tightness about the chest. Frequently I was very sick, and had to vomit after my meals, not being able to keep down even a cup of tea. I slept badly, and usually felt worse in the morning, when I would often suffer from headaches and feel so listless and languid that 1 could scarcely get about, or go through my household duties. As time passed, my whole system was weakened by this complaint, and I felt thoroughly ‘ run down ’ and ‘out of sorts.’ ” Nothing could be clearer than the reason why Mrs Beesley was not digesting her food; it was because her stomach had lost tone and strength. Undigested food ferments in the stomach and is sure to cause pain. Then, us soon as the blood is loaded with the poisonous products of indigestion, good-bye to health, good-bye to strength, good-bye to happiness! Such troubles as pains after eating, furred tongue, lost appetite, headaches, bilious attacks, dizziness and constipation, are of one family! They all arise from indigestion ! But Mrs Beesley found the right cure for all her troubles. She says:
—“I remained in this state for several months, when a friend notice mg haw ill and thin I was Iqoking, recommended me to try Mother Seigel’s Syrup. I obtained a bottle, and did not take many doses before a decided improvement set in. My appetite revived—there was no longer any irritation of the stomach after eating, and so I was enabled to retainjand digest my food. “ As I continued using the Syrup, all the symptoms of indigestion left me, and I' felt increasingly better day by day, until I was soon enjoying perfect health again. Four oxfive bottles of Mother Seigel’s Syrup were sufficient to bring about this happy result, and I heartily recommend it to all who suffer from indigestion or any other form of stomach trouble.” No wonder she was cured, for Mother Seigel’s Syrup tones up the stomach, gently helps the liver and bowels, and aids digestion as nothing else does. If you are suffering from indigestion, you naturally want to get well quickly! How important it is to you, then, that you should get the right medicine. Mrs Beesley is neither the first nor the thousand and first person who has been cured permanently —by Mother Seigel’s Syrup. For forty years, it has been the favourite remedy for all digestive disorders. Try it yourself.
