MASTERTON AND NOLICENSE.
Mastk-rtox, June 30. A monster meeting was held hi the Town Kali to-night to celebrate the second anniversary of the carrying of No-hcense ui tue Masterton electorate. An interesting report was read by the organiser of the party showing that of me'-V u'.vr. - people who bad been approached for an opinion concerning the effects o! No-License, only eight had declared against it. Six medical men gave written testimony that they had not observed drinking in the homes to any extent and figures were adduced to show that the bankruptcies under No-License had been fewer than iormerly, while crime had almost entirely disappeared.
