MAKE ROOM SALE AT G. H. STILES’. On Saturday morning last most of the women of Foxton were “up with the lark” in spite of the cold. There were stirring times for the fair sex, and many a sovereign that had been jealously guarded for the occasion was brought to light that day. The great cause of all this excitement was the opening of Stiles’ Great Make-Room Sale. News of such an important event spread through the district like wild lire. As announced in a special advertisement to-day the Sale is going strong and bids fair to eclipse all previous events of the kind in Bargain-giving. There are only seven more days to go.— Advt.
