YOU SHOULD BEAR IN MIND That by using the commercia eucalyptus oil which is now bought up at 6d per lbs weight and bottled, and on account of the large profit pushed, you are exposing yourself to all the dangers to which the use of turpentine will expose you, irritation of the kidneys, intestinal tract and uncous membranes. By insisting on the GENUINE SANDER EUCA LYPTI EXTRACT you not only avoid these pitfalls, but you have a stimulating, safe and effective medicament, the result of a special and careful manufacture. A trial will at once convince. Quality in small dose distinguishes it from the bulky and dangerous products. Remember SANDER’S EXTRACT embodies the result of 5° years experience and of special study, and it does what is promised, it heals and cures without injuring the constitution, as the oils on the market frequently do. Therefore protect yourself by rejecting other brands. SANDER’S EXTRACT possesses curative powers peculiarly its own and it can be used with perfect safety internally and externally. HORSEWHIPPING INCIDENT. At Auckland, last week, a lady who resides in Warkworth horsewhipped a storekeeper resident in that township. Her husband (Dr. J. Hewins) now writes to the ‘' Herald ’ ’ as follows ; “ On the evening of June ist I was informed that certain statements had been made by a local shopkeeper about my wife. 1 went home, and telling her what I had heard, asked her what she wished me to do. She asked me (as I expected) to allow her to horsewhip him. I agreed, and in the morning we went together to the store of Mr Geo. Guest and bought a suitable whip, and then told him what we intended doing with it. He strongly dissuaded us from our project, and at last said: ‘ Well, doctor, will you come with me while your wife waits here, and we will ask the man if he really said these things?’ I agreed, and further promised Mr Guest that I would not myself lay violent hands on the man in his presence. We proceeded to the shop, and Mr Guest asked him plainly, ‘ Did you say so-and.so (repeated the supposed statements) about Mrs Hewins ? ’ The answer was ‘ Yes, I did.’ We went back to Mr Guest’s shop, and then, calling several witnesses to follow us, my wife and I went to the shop, and she administered the predetermined punishment. I then addressed the crowd, repeating, at my wife’s request, the allegations that had caused her to take so extreme a step. They will now form the basis of proceedings by oroper process of law, and I enclose a copy of the statements as made, so that you may judge for yourself whether my wife’s action was excusable or not.” HER OBJECTION TO IT. “The only objection I have to Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy is that the children are always asking for it,” writes Mrs J. S. Phillips, of Rockwell street, South Broken Hill, N.S.W. “My kiddies have both been subject to colds and croup ever since they were born. My eldest boy was so bad at one time that he was in bed for a week. In fact, we despaired of his life, but thanks to Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy he was soon well again.” For sale everywhere. —Advt.
