THE AUCKLAND JEWELLERY ROBBERY.
New York, May 28. Orders have been issued for the release of a quantity of smuggled jewellery recently seized by the Customs officials at San Francisco. The jewellery will be returned to New Zealand with William and Maud Rogers, who are charged with the theft thereof. [The jewellery was stolen in a sensational manner from Kohn’s shop in Queen street, Auckland, about two months ago. The accused were arrested on arrival at ’Frisco with the missing property in their possession. J
