Auckland, May 26. At the Police Court this afternoon a middle-aged woman, a native of India, sought separation from her English husband, John Lupton, on the ground that he always wanted to kick her out. The husband explained that they were married in Suva and he took her on a five years’ contract from the Government and paid £lO odd for the privilege. They could not live together because they disagreed ou everything. As neither party had any desire to live together, the magistrate made an order of maintenance for 12s a week. There were no children of the marriage.
