CARD TOURNAMENT.

A cribbage tournament was played in Mr Perreau’s rooms last night between a team from the local Druids Lodge and the Railway Employees, the Druids proving victorious by 42 games to 39. Some very interesting games were played and a pleasant time spent. At the conclusion of the tournament refreshments were partaken of and proceedings brought to a close by cheers for the teams. An effort is being made to run similar tournaments fortnightly during the winter months, the next one to be played on the 7th proximo. The following are the names of the players at each table and the scores : DRUIDS. RAILWAY.
