CARD TOURNAMENT.
A cribbage tournament was played in Mr Perreau’s rooms last night between a team from the local Druids Lodge and the Railway Employees, the Druids proving victorious by 42 games to 39. Some very interesting games were played and a pleasant time spent. At the conclusion of the tournament refreshments were partaken of and proceedings brought to a close by cheers for the teams. An effort is being made to run similar tournaments fortnightly during the winter months, the next one to be played on the 7th proximo.
