RIFLE SHOOTING.
The following are the scores of the first competition, under the auspices of the Foxtou Rifle Club, for the Stiles-Golder trophies :
Another ‘‘shoot” is taking place this afternoon, and will be concluded on Wednesday. A meeting of the Rifle Club Committee was held last night, when the advisability of changing the method of handicapping was discussed. It was decided to con- x tinue on the 32 handicap basis, and for the present series of “shoots” in the Stiles-Golder Competition the handicaps will be sealed.
