TWENTY LIVES LOST. Cape Town, April 23. Four carriages and the guard’s van toppled over the Blaauwkrantz bridge at Grahamstown into a chasm 250 feet deep. The engine remained on the rails. Twenty persons were killed, some of them being dreadfully mangled, and twenty-one were injured. _________
