The Feathers match on Saturday last resulted in a win for the holders by 8 points. Hoedeks . Chaelengeks. Clemett Whibley Hennessy Ross Woods Speirs Witchell (s) 28 Spring (s) 20. The holders having won them three times disband, and a fresh drawing will take place next Wednesday, when play will start at 2.30 p.m. owing to the shortening days. In another part of this Issue will be found an advertisement calling a meeting—especially of ladies —on the green at 4 o’clock to-morrow. The question of laying down a croquet lawn is to be settled.
