A STARTLING STATEMENT.

A startling statement was made recently in a Court, when a witness said, that in his line of business, it was the rule always to overstate the claims of the goods advertised. There mav be articles on the market which would not sell if their claims were not overstated, but people should fight shy of them. There is no need to overstate the claims of a genuine, well proved article, and that is why the plain truth about Mother Seigel’s Syrup is always sufficient to prove its value ! All that Mother Seigel’s Syrup does is to tone up and strengthen the stomach, and to stimulate the action of the liver and bowels in a healthy, natural way. The result is plain. When the curative extracts of roots, barks and leaves, of which Mother Seigel’s Syrup is made, have brought those organs into good working order, nine-tenths of all ordinary ailments become impossible. This must be so because when the stomach, liver and bowels are acting naturally and harmoniously, the food is well digested, the body is well nourished, the blood is purified, the system is kept free from the poisonous products of Indigestion, and health and strength naturally follow.

It is when the stomach, liver and bowels are not in good condition that you get such troubles as pains after eating, wind in th 3 stomach, furred tongue, lost appetite, headaches, amemia, biliousness, constipation, nervousness, sleeplessness, and similar ailments. That is why Mother Seigel’s Syrup, the well-proved stomach and liver tonic, cures all such ailments and changes illness and suffering into glorious health.

The letter below, from Mr Marshall, proves that Mother Seigel’s Syrup does cure stomach and liver troubles, for it has cured him. Mr J. Marshall, of Clarendon Street, East Brisbane, on July ytb, 19x0, said : “ It is now almost twelve months since Indigestion began to affect me very badly indeed. I used to get up in the morning with a nasty taste in my mouth. Instead of being refreshed and invigorated by the night’s rest, I felt dull, depressed and completely out of sorts. My stomach was so disordered that I was seldom able to even look at any breakfast, and when I did occasionally eat a few mouthfuls, it would generally disagree with me, so that I would have to bring it up again. I lost all appetite and relish for my meals, and, though not in any acute pain, always felt more or less distressed. Another troublesome symptom was a disagreeable, illtasting fluid that kept forming in my mouth and made everything I ate taste simply horrible I tried most of the usual remedies for Indigestion, but none of them did any good. “ After three months of continuous ill-health a bottle of Mother Seigel’s Syrup was given to me by a lady friend. She said she had used Mother Seigel’s Syrup herself and was sure that it would benefit me, and so it did. After using the Syrup for a few days, I began to feel that I was getting better and I had improved so much by the time the bottle was emptied that I bought another. That did me still more good, and the third bottle of Mother Seigel’s Syrup quite completed my cure ! Now I can sleep well, enjoy a hearty breakfast, and go to ray work feeling thoroughly fit to cope with the day’s duties. I must always regard Mother Seigel’s Syrup as a most valuable medicine.” If your digestive organs are out of order, take Mother Seigel’s Syrup as your friend, and you will soon feel fit and well again.
