Mr W. Spelmau, who has been a telegraph cadet at the local Post Office since he entered the service nearly five years ago, has received notice of his transfer to Wellington aud will leave Foxton to-morrow. Mr Spelmpn’s courteous and obliging manner has made him a favourite with the public, who while regretting his departure will be pleased to hear of his promotion. We join in wishing him prosperity at headquarters. Mr J. W. Hodson, of Blenheim, will succeed Mr Spelman in the local office.
