CRICKET.

A match is being arranged to be played on the Park pitch on Wednesday afternoon between Foxtou and Himatangi. At the conclusion of the match there will be a dinner and smoke concert to wind up the season, the cost of which will be borne by the lossing side.

The bat, presented by Mr H. S. Munro for the best batting average, and the ball, presented by Mr W. S. Stewart for the best bowling average in the Foxton Club in Shield contests were won by Robinson (batting) and lidliu (bowling).
