Messeua, is going in for big stakes, having nominated the Conqueror —Waipuna mare in the Great Autumn Handicap, of 1000 sovs. She will carry 6st Blb, and with good luck should be well up amongst the leaders at the finish.
Mr “Alt’” Wright’s b.g. The Rover seemed to have had a fairly easy win in the Waipipi Cup at the M.R.C. autumn meeting last Thursday. The win was a very popular one, and we hope it will not he long before the genial “Alf” lauds another victory.
