The P'eather games were continued yesterday, the holders having to succumb by 13 points. The game was keenly contested, excitement running very high at times. A fortunate seven on one head gave the challengers a good lead, which they increased as the game went on. HOI.DKKS. CHAU.KNGKKS. Whibley Littlejohn Ross Hamer Spring Clemett Petrie (s) 16 Hennessy (s) 29 The lady members of the Club roll up well to play, and are a “ great success.” Their membership now numbers ten. The Club has decided to pay Shannon a visit on Wednesday, 22nd instant. It is hoped to take over three rinks or more. Private motor cars hare been kindly placed at the Club’s disposal, and the outing should be most enjoyable. Members Mulling to go will kindly notify the secretary at once.
The following rink has been selected to represent Foxton in the competition for the Kinniburgh Feathers to be played at either Levin or Otaki :—Woods, Stiles, Rimmer and Witchell (skip).
