Kemp is still unable to find the full to pul up against Arnst. He is hopeful of beating Pearce in the forthcoming race for the championship of Australia. He is confident he will then be able to raise the ,£SOO backing. Pearce is keen on a race with Arnst, and if he beats Kemp he proposes to immediately arrange a match with the champion.
