OBITUARY.

MRS. JOB VILE. We regret to announce the death of Mrs Job Vile, relict of the late Job Vile, who, it will be remembered, died suddenly at Martou close on six years ago during the excitement of the general election day, Mr Vile being a candidate for Manawatu. The deceased lady, who has been residing at Wanganui, was on a visit to her son at Bulls, and on Sunday suffered a seizure of the heart. Deceased, who was 64 years of age, was married in 1867, and had twelve children, eleven sons and one daughter. Deceased was well-known on the southern portion of the East and West Coasts of this island, and her loss will be keenly felt by a large circle of friends and relatives. Her sons include Mr A. Vile, managing editor of the Wairarapa Age, and Mr Robt. Vile, of the Eketahuna Express. Deceased was also a relative of the wellknown Rayner family, Wairarapa.
