BRAVERY REWARDED.

London, Feb. 23. King George personally bestowed numerous medals for bravery. He congratulated Mrs Wright, who on December 26th went to the assistance of Constable Haystead, when the latter was arresting an armed burglar named Arthur. The King then walked to a stretcher whereon Sergeant Woodham, one of the Houndsditch constables, had teen brought to the Palace. His Majesty, bending over and shaking hands with Woodham, inquired as to his progress, and warmly commended his valour.
